Local E of Chicago Needs Indie Talent!
Posted by Dave on December 6, 2006 at 6:31 PM   (printer friendly)

A close friend of mine, DJ Dead Air runs "The E! Show" (Local E of Chicago) on WRRG FM in Chicago, 88.9FM every Saturday Night, 10pm to Midnight. He is looking for Independent Artist Talent for his show. Despite the fact that he is working for an FCC / RIAA type of station -- he has decided to say "fuck the main stream!" and wants to make unknown talent, known!

In order to qualify, you need to meet the following qualifications:

- Demoscene / Industrial / Techno / Trance / Ambient (computer / electronically composed)

Yeah, thats really about it. Also know he has to be REALLY picky so make sure you are submitting what you feel is the "Best of the Best" of your stuff. Submit as many of your tracks as you wish at any time. Most tracks will be denied so when that happens, don't take it personally. On average at LEAST 1 track per artist tends to get accepted to his show, so keep those submissions flowing!

Please send HTTP or FTP urls for your songs to DJDEADAIR[at]GMAIL[dot]COM. Make the subject heading Re: Submission to Local E

If you do not hear back it means the song was rejected but that does not mean *you* have been rejected! In this event please keep sending more of your stuff!

DJ Dead Air says "i'm talking to myself" ... well maybe he should take my advice, create an account here and say a few words of his own. He needs to get his own word out about his own show, too! It's not all JUST up to me :-) Chop Chop DJ Dead Ass ... err... air! :-D

Maybe you should use the DMusic forums for this. You are registered there also. And you'll probably get more of a response. Put it in the Get Your Music Heard thread...hint... hint...
