MP3.com today announces its 250,000th song upload, "A Coffin" by artist Dirty Rotten Imbeciles, (D.R.I.). Music fans can preview the landmark song available for download at www.mp3.com/dri. D.R.I. was first formed 1982 and go down in the annals of rock as being one of the first bands to blend hardcore with thrash metal. "'A Coffin' epitomizes the D.R.I. style of short, fast, no frills songs which were packed into the early albums," says D.R.I. frontman Kurt Brecht.
