Subject: I've notice something about the RIAA's suing

Did you notice that all the people you hear of the RIAA suing are all people with not alot of money? 12 year old girls,
college kids, retired people. Why don't they ever sue rich P2P users? Why are they all poor people? Why did they sue an innocent 66 year old woman with 0 evidence backing them up? It's so obvious they want just the money. Now they want to arrest people for filesharing.
Wtf is with that? They don't give a shit about the artists. They just want money all to themselves. Can I say corporate greed? |

The reason you hear the sob stories is because those are the stories that the media chooses to report. It makes a good headline. |

And not only that, I'd hardly see the reason to use P2P if i could afford every media application 100 times over. Who cares if its good or not when you have that much money? Just throw it out the window if you don't like it. |

The rich users settle quietly, dont make the news. With the new system through, the RIAA cant select their targets. They could end up suing anyone, rich or poor - kids, retireds, schools, offices, internet cafes, and if we are really lucky someone with influence. |

Of course, the RIAA and its members have friends and cross-ownership in the TV area. If they want it out the news, its out the news. |

Does anyone know what bootlegs are classified? I understand they are not copyright but fall into some other law? Someone I know is getting charged with - get this- "theft of sound" . Its a felony. When was the last time someone overdosed or was murdered by a concert video. Its all spiraling way out of hand. |

Funny that you mentioned bootlegs. I don't know the legalities of them, but I do know that Metalica (One of the horrid Napster killers) promoted fans to make bootlegs of live events for years. Go figure huh lol |

Ok first of all.......
(don't mind me i'm in a nagging mood)
I hate the whole fact of p2p sharing is getting targeted.
Secondly These "artists" make lots of $$$$$$$$ so why they b***hing? They own 2 houses and 6 friggen cars but they don't have enough money!!!!!!
They really need to get a real job that pays minimum wage and trying to support 4 people while pay bills and try to keep a roof above all their heads!!!!
They have no F**k'n right to complain.
Face it we're the ones getting ripped off!!
>Look at how much a CD costs and think you only wanted one song on it? That's a good $20 for one F*n song!!!!
>CD's cost only what 10cents to make and they charge us $10-30 per CD?
>When Windows XP first came out XP PRO was almost $600-700. WHY?
>Everything costs too much so when it comes to paying big $$ or downloading i'll take the cheaper option and use the money saved to pay my cable bill. |

I just don't get why these RIAA idiots are making a mockery of the courts. All they are doing is pointing fingers and sueing whoever is in front of them. If they get this new thing up and running, it sounds like they will be having one hell of a field day sueing unlucky people!! |

Could you rephrase? That question didn't make sense. |
