Hey everybody! I am an english student who is doing a project on file sharing and was wondering if anyone could take the time to answer the following questions.
1. What is your profession?
2. How are you connected or how do you know about file sharing?
3. Do you or anyone you know "file share"?
4. Are the penalties for "file sharing" too tough or not tough enough?
5. What is the key to stopping file sharing?
6. Who suffers most because of file sharing, the artist, or the music company?
7. What should the punishment be, if any, for illegal file sharing?
8. What is your position on file sharing?
9. . When people fileshare does the artist actually lose a sale, or would the person have bought the music had a filesharing program not been available? |

Please look around through these forums. You are about the 500th person asking the same questions. You likely won't get any response from anyone other than this one because of that.
Really, search through the forums, I'm not trying to be unfriendly, though as I read it, I see some might interpret it that way. |

2. How are you connected or how do you know about file sharing? Scrubbed all mine out Gutmann standard.
3. Do you or anyone you know "file share"? Think they gone back to other ways. Radio TV and each others CDs
4. Are the penalties for "file sharing" too tough or not tough enough? Got to raise money for the wars somehow.
5. What is the key to stopping file sharing? Off the internet no way. On the internet DANGEROUS.
6. Who suffers most because of file sharing, the artist, or the music company? If they worth copying they got money.
7. What should the punishment be, if any, for illegal file sharing? A medal for saving taxes.
8. What is your position on file sharing? Out all together.
9. . When people fileshare does the artist actually lose a sale, or would the person have bought the music had a filesharing program not been available? Got it by other means. |

Here's the thing, I need an opinion of one person...not the opinion of various people I quote from forums. I cannot hand in a collection of various people's random thoughts on the subject. This survey is not for me to get personal information on the subject...I already know what I need to know and have formed my own opinion. These interviews are supposed to show someone's opinion on the subject in answer to the specific questions I posed. |
